For over fifteen years, Christ Church Noida has dedicated a substantial portion of its outreach efforts and resources to promoting education and advancing theological studies—the then Presbyter-in-Charge and present Bishop of Delhi, CNI, Rt. Rev. Dr Paul Swarup initially established this vital initiative. What commenced as straightforward financial assistance for seminary fees, primarily benefiting deserving individuals recommended by the Bishop of Delhi, has since blossomed into a multifaceted programme offering support across three distinct avenues: direct financial aid to aspiring candidates, contributions to a theological college operating under the Church of North India, and comprehensive training and ongoing support for individuals from within the church's own community.
Under the present pastoral leadership and congregational support, Christ Church Noida has further instituted a distinctive programme designed to encourage, rigorously train, and thoroughly prepare any young individual emerging from the congregation. Beyond imparting comprehensive instruction in all facets of pastoral duties, considerable emphasis is placed on cultivating within these developing leaders robust qualities of leadership and a deep understanding of church ministry. To alleviate financial concerns during this formative period, the candidate receives a stipend to meet their living expenses for approximately two years. Upon completion of this preparatory phase, these individuals are then put forward for admission to accredited theological seminaries, with Christ Church Noida committing to provide the necessary financial assistance throughout their entire course of study. This holistic approach ensures that the next generation of church leaders is not only academically prepared but also spiritually grounded and practically equipped for their sacred calling: serving as members and positively impacting our city.
