Greetings in the name of the Lord.
It is with great joy and sincere gratitude that I extend thanks, on behalf of the NCWA Sunday School office bearers, to all those who participated in the recent Sunday School Festival representing NCWA member churches. By the abundant grace of God, the Sunday School Festival 2025 was successfully conducted—a long-awaited event for which we have prayed and which has come to fruition after several years.
The festival took place at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on 27 September 2025, from half past eight in the morning until two o’clock in the afternoon. We are thankful that God opened the way this year to hold the event for His glory. Reverend Sandeep David, NCWA President, offered enthusiastic support, guidance, and encouragement from the planning stage through to completion. We are especially grateful to our Treasurer, Mr Rahul Vaz, for his invaluable assistance in sourcing all resources and necessities, which ensured the smooth and memorable running of the programme. In addition, Ms Blessy of Immanuel Marthoma Church provided professional design work for the certificates and posters.
In total, 101 children attended; Mr Brajesh of St. Mary’s efficiently managed all registrations. Teachers and volunteers from various congregations joined the programme with outstanding commitment and joy. Ms Shanthi Robinson of Christ Church Noida warmly welcomed the pastors and guest speakers with the presentation of saplings. Reverend Sandeep David led the assembly in prayer, with greetings subsequently delivered by Reverend Shaiju C. Joy from Immanuel Mar Thoma Church. Ms Preeti Joseph and her team from Youth from Christ ministry invigorated the children with lively praise and worship songs, incorporating interactive actions.
The devotional session focused on the theme of salvation, creatively illustrated with placards to provide meaningful insight. Children were engaged in various games and activities, including drawing, reciting memory verses, singing, and performing skits. Ms Priti B. Masih from Bethany Methodist Church delivered the vote of thanks, sharing heartfelt appreciation for all the dignitaries, participants, and contributors whose efforts contributed to the festival’s success. Father Roshan Pereira brought greetings, presented certificates to each participating child, distributed commemorative mementoes to the churches, and concluded the event with a prayer. Snacks and lunch were provided to all attendees. Performing skits and reciting memory verses contributed to BB. Performing contributed to Bskits, reciting.
The NCWA Sunday School office bearers and fellowship leaders demonstrated unity, commitment, and strength throughout, ensuring the success of this festival. Truly, it was the collective dedication, teamwork, and prayerful preparation that enabled the joyful celebration of this event to the glory of God. May we continue to gather in worship and fellowship, strengthening the bonds between NCWA member churches and glorifying God in the days ahead.
With kind regards,
Shanthi Robinson
President, NCWA Sunday School
